We are working to do this by providing high-quality, made-to-order custom products in a sustainable way.
By doing this we help to:
1) reduce the amount of waste piling up in overcrowded landfills as high-quality products need to be replaced less often than inferior low-quality products
2) lower the amount of energy, fuel & labor required to replace low quality products
3) decrease stock overages and the need for additional storage, both of which add more demand to already scarce resources
In choosing these green options, I believe that it has a positive result on the world, without incurring a huge sacrifice.
So when you buy a product from us, you’re helping improve both the environment and make the world a cleaner place for future generations.
Creating A Better World Around Us
Beyond making green choices to improve the world, we want to support those who actively work to make the world a better place.
And we feel that we can best do that by donating a portion of every sale to various grassroots charitable initiatives.
The organizations that we currently support:
1) provide help & support for those battling a variety of mental health illnesses
2) provide food & shelter for at risk teens and youth
As time goes by and we continue to grow, we will likely support more organizations and services.
Beyond our current charitable giving, it’s always been a dream of ours to help support an orphanage in another country. Maybe in days to come – with the continued support of our customers – that dream will become a reality.
But for now, we’ve chosen to support small, grassroots organizations because they serve the community around us and have their finger on the pulse of what’s needed.
We see this as similar to supporting local and small businesses rather than large corporate chains.
And just like you’ve chosen to support our small business, we have decided to support small charities in the same way.
While our actions and giving might be relatively small at the moment, we believe that over time they will have a big positive effect.
