This projects was straightforward, so it was just a matter of doing it.
We had to tear out the old workbench (that smelled suspiciously of cat urine 🤔), do the drywall work, paint and install new shelving.
The drywall involved patching holes in the walls in addition to mudding, taping and sanding the joints.
A couple coats of primer and two coats of paint later and we were ready to install the shelving.
The shelves are made from 2×4 and 3/4″ plywood.
Overkill? Yes.
Safest place in the house if there’s an earthquake? Probably.
