Flooring

We went with vinyl plank flooring for the whole upper floor, the stairs and for most of the basement.

My wife got a great deal on it and it fit the style and design we were looking for perfectly.

I only had to replace one sheet of the plywood flooring (it was pretty spongy), and we ended up using some self-leveling compound in a few spots but for the most part the subfloor was in pretty good shape.

Of course, we cleaned up the sub-floor before we laid the vinyl plank here.

As mentioned, we installed insulated subfloor in most of the basement before putting down the vinyl plank.
