Step into the world of Helio, a hardworking bike delivery boy in São Paulo, Brazil.
He and his family live in one of the favelas in the Andrade area, where life's tough, but they do it with a smile and gratitude.
He is the first child out of two, and he has to support his family while trying to put himself through school.
Even though he works as a delivery boy, as the only earner for his family, his salary isn't enough to provide for his family, which includes his sick diabetic father.
But despite these challenges, Helio's unwavering determination fuels his efforts to create a better life for himself and his family.
However, despite this, Helio is working and believing in a future where he would work as a nurse, and that will afford him the opportunity to provide better medical attention for his father and a better quality of life overall for his family. To help him in this journey, we gave his family a cash gift to help ease the pressure of cost of the medication needed for his diabetic father.
After receiving this gift, Helio was all smiles. It was a moment that touched the heart and left a lasting impression.
