This projects was straightforward, so it was just a matter of doing it.<\/p>\n

We had to tear out the old workbench (that smelled suspiciously of cat urine \ud83e\udd14), do the drywall work, paint and install new shelving.<\/p>\n

The drywall involved patching holes in the walls in addition to mudding, taping and sanding the joints. <\/p>\n

A couple coats of primer and two coats of paint later and we were ready to install the shelving.<\/p>\n

The shelves are made from 2×4 and 3\/4″ plywood.<\/p>\n

Overkill? Yes.<\/p>\n

Safest place in the house if there’s an earthquake? Probably.<\/p>\n
